8 Days In Yellowstone – Lamar River To Canyon

The trip starts at Lamar River Canyon trail head, goes over Mist Creek Pass and across Pelican Valley to Broad River. Next we go to Wapiti Lake, then off trail to Hot Spring Basin area. The Winds: Big Sandy – Texas Pass Loop

https://youtu.be/2axCdr4rkaM This is a seven day backpacking trip in Bridger Wilderness, which consist of 428,000 acres in the Bridger Teton National Forest in the Wind River Range, Wyoming. The trip begins at Big Sandy Trail Head then up to Big Sandy Lake, over Jackass Pass and down into Cirque of Towers. Next we go off trail and over Texas Pass to Shadow Lake, where we pick up an official trail and continue to Dad’s Lake and back to the Big Sandy Trail Head. https://youtu.be/2axCdr4rkaM

Mt. Rogers – Grayson Highlands Loop

https://youtu.be/blwvsdFVW2k This is a three night backpacking trip in the Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area and Grayson Highlands State Park. Starting at Virginia State Route 603, I take the Appalachian Trail to Old Orchard Trail to Lewis Fork Trail to Cliffside Trail and then up to Pine Mountain Trail. Next I continue on Pine Mountain Trail to Rhododendron Gap and from there take the AT for about 0.2 mile to a campsite between the AT and the Crest Trail. On day three I take Rhododendron Gap Trail to Wilson Ridge Trail and then over Wilson Ridge and back down to the AT. Continuing on the AT through Grayson Highlands State Park, I camp the third night on the north side of Wise Shelter in a meadow along Big Wilson Creek. On day four I take the AT a short distance to Wilson Creek Trail to the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail to Scales. Flat Laurel Creek In Pisgah National Forest

https://youtu.be/IUc3ARzrfgY This is a one night backpacking in Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina starting at the Black Balsam Knob trail head (elevation 5.800′) and taking the Sam Knob Trail to the Flat Laurel Creek Trail. The trip ends at North Carolina State Route 215 (elevation 5,100′).
